Newark History Museum is celebrating Founders Day to honor the signers of the original 1758 Newark Charter on April 2, 2023, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Founders Day activities will include the opening of the museum with brand new exhibits, Aetna’s Old Bessie antique fire engine, historical walking tours, a museum store sale, a food truck, and more! Free museum admission and free parking. Additional free parking nearby at Phillips and Lewis Parks.
